Ashley Cakes is an award-winning custom cake bakery located in Raleigh, NC that is owned and operated by the husband and wife team of Ashley and Josh Lattier.  Ashley and Josh have become known for creating stunning wedding and special occasion cakes that taste as good as they look!  Since starting in 2005, we have won several awards including "Best of Weddings Pick 2010" by the readers of the Knot magazine, "Bride's Choice Award" winner in 2010 and 2009 from Wedding Wire, and been featured in several magazines including the Knot, Carolina Bride, Cary Living, and Triangle East Magazine.

Ashley's love of baking and decorating cakes began when she was just eight years old.  She credits her Aunt Amy in Michigan for introducing her to the world of baking and decorating when she would come visit her for the summer.  Ashley's husband Josh joined her full-time in 2007.  With a background in art and graphic design and with the help of Ashley, Josh has transferred his artistic ability into designing and decorating cakes as well.
